Victor Muñoz

Coach Gymnastics/Tumbling

Bringing over 42 years of gymnastics coaching and 33 years of cheer tumble-coaching experience to the table, Victor Muñoz is also a dedicated Public School Teacher with 34 years of service. A local resident for more than 26 years, Victor has been deeply involved with the community's athletes, covering both the recreational and competitive spheres of gymnastics and cheerleading. He has a significant partnership with The Colony High School Cheerleading program and works extensively with athletes from elementary to high school levels, as well as with numerous elite private cheer club athletes throughout the metroplex.

Victor is adept at preparing students for a wide range of gymnastics competitions, including prestigious events and private club programs like the USAG Junior Olympics, TAF, and N.C.A. tryouts, not to mention cheerleading national and world championships. Recognizing the diversity of athletes' goals and abilities, he focuses on developing their strengths to enhance both their mental and physical abilities. Emphasizing the importance of a solid grasp of fundamental skills for safety and ongoing success, Victor aims to foster self-discipline, encourage a strong mental focus, and ensure the development and execution of proper, safe body techniques for any skill set.

2015 – Present: Owner/Coach at Tumble HQ, The Colony, Texas
- Currently leading a premier gymnastics and tumbling training facility, focusing on both recreational and competitive athletes. Emphasizes the holistic development of gymnasts and cheerleaders.
2005 – 2015: Gymnastics Director at Sky High Gymnastics, The Colony, TX
- Oversaw the Tumble program, enhancing the curriculum and developing athletes for numerous state and regional competitions.
2000 – 2004: Gymnastics Instructor at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy, Plano, Texas
- Provided elite training to gymnasts, contributing to the development of future champions and Olympians.
1998 – 2005: Gymnastics Director at The Colony Recreation Center, The Colony, Texas
- Directed the gymnastics program, significantly improving the quality of training and community engagement.
1999 – 2000: Gymnastics Instructor at Dallas Gymnastics Center, Addison, Texas
- Taught gymnastics to athletes of various levels, focusing on improving their capabilities and readying them for team competitions in the Junior Olympics.

- Specialized in developmental gymnastics, fostering foundational skills and a love for the sport among young athletes.
